We are seeking a COO with  direct experience in the electrical connectors industry. 
Past experience in operations and manufacturing operations within this industry is required.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The "FAE" (Field Application Engineer)" is hands-on and responsible for driving Client design efforts at specific strategic account(s). This individual will focus on the Optoelectronics product line. This person owns the technical support, objectives, accountability, and execution for the commercial success of the strategic account on behalf of Client.
This person will have the innate ability to effectively work with and guide all Client Optoelectronics product lines to penetrate all areas for Client products.

Introductions and opportunity developments for other Client business units.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced in designs using optoelectronics components
Engineering degree from an accredited college or university 
5 - 8 years of optoelectronics or related components experience

Key Qualifications: 

  • 5-20 years firmware development experience 
  • BS in EE/CE/CS, MS preferred, or equivalent experience and exceptional ability 
  • Proficient in C/C++ development for embedded systems 
  • Experience in development of digital and analog interfaces 
  • Familiar with GIT version control 
  • Knowledge of automotive networking (e.g. CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, I2C) standards. 
  • Strong background with debugging tools 
  • General familiarity with basic control theory and digital implementation of controls.
